2019-2020 Nominations For Long Service and Certificate of Commendation Awards

These awards have been introduced in response to the comments received following the 2008 awards.  They comprise: Certificate of Commendation and Long Service Award.

Candidates for the Long Service Award must have at least 15 years continuous service on behalf of the EBCS and be a current member with no gaps in membership.

Criteria for Certificate of Commendation:

They must be current members of the EBCS with no gaps in membership and have given dedicated service for at least 10 years.  The award recognises those individuals who have given unstinting service to their Counties and Clubs.

Criteria for Long Service Award:

They must be current members of the EBCS with no gaps in membership and have given dedicated service for at least 15 years.

Candidates may be nominated for both these awards but must meet the criteria in BOTH categories.

In all cases the nominations must be accompanied by the relevant documentary evidence on the official form in evidence of their support.

The names of all members worthy of these awards in 2019-2020 must reach the Honorary Secretary by 28th February by 2020 in order that they can be processed, approved and then recognised at the AGM.

The completed and signed forms will need to be posted to the EBCS Hon Secretary.
